ABOUT ME

“ONCE A YEAR, GO SOMEPLACE YOU’VE NEVER BEEN BEFORE”
Dalai Lama

A humble Filipina living her dream life of traveling the world one country at a time. Currently back in Southeast Asia, in Luang Prabang, Laos. I will be spending thirty days in this beautiful country together with my wife. We will be doing a few weekend trips here and there but nothing grand. Join me as I explore the beauty of this world.
Find me on Facebook & Instagram, and let’s connect there.

Created a YouTube channel for my travel videos – Girls On Global Adventures, Check it out! I post videos as much as I can! Now currently in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

This blog is all about me, my adventures, travels, experiences, feelings, poems, list of my greatest dreams, failures, and fears. This is to document the interesting places I traveled, the people I met along the way, and different cultures & beliefs. This is about the songs I like to listen to, products I trust, and poems I’ve written. Basically, it’s all about my “BORING” life.

Traveling during the pandemic??? No worries, SAFETYWING INSURANCE covers people from all over the world, while outside their home country, COVID-19 coverage is included.

I aim to meet new friends and experience new & fun adventures. Living by the moment, taking one step at a time, embracing change, and being open to possibilities.

This will be my life’s journal, something I will look into when I get older when I can no longer travel. This is my DIARY, the story of how I live my life, how I rise to the occasion, and how I conquer my fears, and achieve my goals.

“I knew that in the silence that followed, that anything could happen here. It might be too late again. I might have missed my chance. But I would at least know I tried, that I took my heart and extended my hand, whatever the outcome.”

Of course that is true, it’s just that usually the people only remember the negative and the unfortunate happenings in the world. That is why somethimes they are labeled as bad. But yes, majority of the world is good. I watch the vid and I spotted Quezon City, Philippines

Thanks for appreciating. I really do believe it’s just a matter of how you see things:-)

Wonderful … don’t lose that attitude.

I hope so too 🙂 I guess I just have to be strong enough to still look in the positive side of things no matter how cruel life can be.

    4. aFrankAngle Avatar

Life is cruel in many ways … but much of it is perspective and how one deals with it. Blogging mimics in-person life … in other words, one of the most important factors is the quality of the bloggers one is around.

True indeed. Its always a matter of how you see things:-) and of course, influence from positive people you surround yourself into:-)

    6. aFrankAngle Avatar

That a way! 🙂 By the way, good job interacting – which is something I don’t see as much with newer bloggers.

Thanks for commending. Actually, I really want to interact with people and other bloggers just so I can have some more pointers. Being a newbie that I am in blogging, getting pointers from other bloggers are very helpful, constructive critisism is always welcome.

That’s a wonderful reflection on self. I try to visit everyone who stops by. Too many are simply looking for followers, and even if I comment on their blog, the most I usually get is a “Thank you.” So they build their followers and possibly views, but they don’t build a community. I can tell you’re personable and want to interact … it’s more rewarding, but more time consuming.

Indeed time consuming, but you know some people reAlly like interacting with other people. Ao it doesn’t reAlly matter how long will it take. That’s like choosing your friends, it doesn’t matter if you have less friends compared to other, as long as you know you have the right kinds of friends. I’m more on quality than quantity😊 im like that! But in time though, I know followers will come:-)

Separate by a great physical distance and also age, we’ve quickly connected because of similar beliefs. 😀

    11. novaresa Avatar

That’s kinda rare. And thats the beauty of technology, it connects you to people you didn’t expect to share the same thoughts with. It proves that distances and any physical hindrance doesn’t matter. You can easily share your thoughts And ideas and in doing so, finding the same people with the exact same beliefs.

Despite all the bad news we here about what’s happening in the world, I firmly believe that the vast majority of the world is good. After all, smiles and kindness are without boundaries. This one (in a series) supports my point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pwe-pA6TaZk … sometimes even bringing a tear to my eye.
